Is it a good idea for a woman to pursue a man or does it make her seem desperate or loose?

Some men like the attention and other's may be old-fashioned and don't appreciate this.

Men are more likely to overlook desperation and vulnerability. A girl has to go the extra mile to be judged desperate by a man.

A girl getting a sniff of male desperation is repulsed almost instantaneously. A trace of weakness and vulnerability in a man is enough to be disqualified. Women, despite of their soft and fraudulent goodspeak, have zero tolerance for the weak.

My my experience desperate woman can not achieve anything. Men are hunters inside, they like "hard to get" not clingy and loving woman.

In prehistoric times, men hunted and women gathered -thats gone, as both genders hunt now. but I can tell you as a guy (and every guy I've ever known) wishes women were more proactive. sometimes all it takes is a breaking the ice.

If a woman feels comfortable pursuing a man, good on her. I'm old school and still prefer that the man does the pursuing.

I remember my daughter (who like myself is fundamentally shy) explaining how she coped with going off to knew colleges where she knew no one.

She said she picks on someone and then follows them around until they like her. The thing is, they always ending up liking her.

We do tend to gravitate towards people who offer us warmth and friendship and respond in kind.

She was very young when she started college, but I don't think she was as green as she was cabbage looking. laugh

What makes you think in prehistoric times men hunted and women gathered?

I call that a waste of resources likely to endanger the community's survival. dunno

When the pursuee indicates that being pursued is no longer desired, yet Pursuer continues...that's where the line is crossed.
