I can’t answer these questions, but you ladies can. And I hope you do so with an open and honest heart.
So, please don’t blame men for everything that goes wrong in your relationship. If men were totally responsible for everything, then there would be no hope for you ladies. Clearly you can’t fix the male gender any more than you can change the orbit of the Earth. Ladies, fortunately, your job is much simpler and much easier which is to “just try to change yourself a little”. Wishing you all the best ladies!

You cannot just sit back and relax and just wait for your man to make you happy. It's the other way around. Woman should do their part too in showing their man that they are important and have their own needs too. Love is not selfish. I am realizing this is true. To me, immediately seemed as he was in dis-mantel and attack mode. He appeared as tiger being let out of a cage! Then it seemed to me he was trying to change his "story" along the way. I'm still not sure of the point he's trying to make. I guess just off to a bad start and it has gone quite a bit tangled.

Narcissism is growing rapidly all over the world. There are many causes for this including the poisoning of our food crops, the poisoning of our water supplies, chemical mutation in human brains, etc.
There is also the ego psychology that says places the big "Me" at the centre of everything.
Yes, many women do complain and gripe about me. some actually do it as a power thing to help their own low self-esteem issues by diminishing another.
some do it out of spite and hate and as a revenge for some perceived or actual hurt from a male in the past or present.
some do it because they can't see anything from a different gender perspective.
this is both men and women.
I agree with others who have suggested that you might need to have a good look in the mirror and ask yourself why you are attracted to those type of women?
Perhaps it would be better to seek the company, friendship, and a relationship with a totally different kind of woman.
I used to be abused by women of my own race and kind. My mum used to beat me up. I have been abused by my first wife. I know all about the things that you talk about.
But I made a choice not to remain a victim. I made a choice to seek women who wanted me, who accepted me for who I am.
I met such a woman right here on CS. We have been married for 1 year already (today is our wedding anniversary).
So I would encourage you to not whinge about these women, but do something about it. Change what kind of women you seek, change you.
You will be amazed when you being working on who you are, how you will be attracted to, and attract different women along the lines of what you want and how you think they should be.
The world is a big place, and out of the billions of souls alive, there are quite a few who we can live with, love, and be in a fulfilling relationship with.
It depends on what we are prepared to do to find such people.
