jarred1: I love animals more than humans. Is anything wrong with me?
one might have nothing to do with the other.......
There might be something wrong with you.... only you know the answer to that....
Pets give us unconditional love, and it's a good thing. I know a lot of folks that have nothing wrong with them and they love animals more than humans. and I know a few folk that well, have a LOT wrong with them and they love animals more than humans....
Animals tho can be owned.... humans cannot.... (or that's the prevailing theory).
Our predeccesors used animals for their own needs. Since some animals have been domesticated, have turned the tables on humans, using them for their own comfort.
In the minds of some domesticated animals prevails the thought... ""I own my boss""

Nothing wrong with that at all Jarred, animals are true and you know they have no agenda in life. We (the human race) are a pitiful and largely unpleasant species hellbent on destruction power and greed..I.M.O.....i think..

This is not the first time i heard this remark. Most of the cases it runs from those that are extremely disappointed by somebody. It's somewhat a behavior of rejection. Somewhat wrong, but i though hope it's a temporary attitude because animals could in any healthy manner replace the quality of a human. Every creature has it's own place and purpose, there's somewhat a natural law on that , nobody can deny it. I love animals too, but i placed humans above it all,, you might be in an environment that's not favorable enough for developing human relations,, it happens ,, but that does not mean that animals are better than man.

I love animals too.....but below humans on the totem pole.
I can understand, however, how one can be very attached to a pet, particularly after a personal trauma.
