lifeisadream: Btw this morning just getting out “home” I did let a vehicle to pass before I did and it was a brand new BMW and the one driving it was an elder nun!
And she did not look “desesperada”.
Yet, this evening in my way to a meeting to a 2 hrs driving rural place I did see a convoy of eleven militay vehicles with 24 tanks!

Lolette: lifeisadream,, I have the notion to see the meaning of human rights in the fighting grounds than on definitions. I see how difficult it is to treat this situation on the actualities, but then, i think there's no use in crying individually and get panicked, if the respective governamental system is not realible enough, individually we can do nothing, and here where i am, possesion of firearms is strictly prohibited by law,, and so far, personally, don't have any problem with refugees,, legal or illegal ,, let's see it that way ,,,
I am for Human Rights too, in speech and in action and Human Rights are more important to me that the whole material world.

lindsyjones: I 5 h We can all sing and dance about human rights but illegal entries for economic reasons are not on the priority list of the organization. Poverty and ignorance is also one of the most valid concern that is in the front line of NY HR office.
This thread is about the illegal attempts of unauthourised people to enter England,

Asked about preventing illegal migrants getting into the UK, Mr Cameron said: "A lot of people coming to Europe are coming in search of a better life. "They are economic migrants and they want to enter Britain illegally and the British people and I want to make sure our borders are secure and you can't break into Britain without permission." He also defended his recent use of the word "swarm" when describing migrants crossing the Mediterranean. The Refugee Council, which works with refugees in the UK, has said his comments were "irresponsible" and "dehumanising". But speaking on BBC Radio 4's Today programme, the prime minister said he believed voters would understand he was not trying to dehumanise people. "I don't think it does dehumanise people. Look at what Britain's response has been. "I made sure that we sent the Royal Navy flagship to the Mediterranean which has rescued thousands of people, saved thousands of lives," he said.I support him .”

Tom I am sorry if I got the impression about your post regarding the negative impacts of Illegal entries which I am fighting to be considered on improving ways to handle the system so as to prevent this massive entry.
But if I may understand you support England being a sympathetic country on the plights of these people seeking for better life, I respect that.
I responded on one of the comment addressed about the criminality of illegal entry.

I vehemently oppose illegal entries. I fight for the strength of the US responsibility in securing the border for prevention.

I do not in any way shape or form support the action of illegal immigrants at Calais.
They are from outside the EU from all over the middle east.
They have put themselves in this position and must suffer the consequences of their actions.

The U.S. government created the situation where 13+ million Mexicans had to silently invade the continental USA. They are more productive here than a lot of U.S. citizens are. We have survived this so why can't Europe also survive something similar...
