Look out!! It's wasp season! (38)
I've been riding motorcycles for years. One day I went to the bank on my bike. It was summer but not that warm (as usual
) so full leathers, with a jumper and t-shirt underneath.
As I was getting off the bike, I noticed a wasp trying to crawl into my helmet. Had a bit of a flappy panic and thought I'd got rid of it.
Then standing in the queue in the bank I felt it buzzing and fluttering against my skin under my t-shirt
I threw my helmet across the bank, my jacket followed in the opposite direction, then I frantically ripped my jumper off and started flapping my t-shirt about, all the while doing the panic dance.
By this point everyone in the bank was watching me 
even the staff had stopped working to see what was going on 
It eventually buzzed out of the bottom of my t-shirt somewhat dazed!!
I'm sure it must have been caught on the bank cctv and I'm half expecting to find it on youtube one day

I may have been funny to watch, as I was like a nervous darts player. Only missed once though! Yay!
A 4 year old boy wasn't so lucky, when running from wasps. He got knocked down by a car. Reports say he's stable, thankfully. Poor kid.
I'd say we've nearly all ran from wasps as kids. Or mosquitos for those who live in the warmer countries.

Last summer, wasps decided to take up residence in a crevice between bricks on my balcony so I waited until night time to fill the crevice with sealant...problem solved. The darn things are pesky but I'm not afraid of them. Spiders are a different story though...one of those gets on me and I dance like I've never danced before.

our spiders are mainly small spiders and don't sting or bite. Don't fancy coming across any big ones though, might be dancing too!
