Where is the honey???
A client of mine is a Beekeeper and he sells his honey to someone that has bee hives from the very north (Chihuahua) to the south (Oaxaca) and that is a long way... but this season Bees are not making honey and not bringing honey to the hive.
Are here any Beekeepers? And if so, how is the honey making process going in their countries.
Another question would be:
Why are the bees not bringing honey to their hives?
My client says that there are not enough "working" bees in the hives and he is considering placing two Queens per hive.
Is there a shortage of labor in the Bee hives too as we do have now for agricultural labor?

Hmmmmm Interesting question, Maybe the breed of Bee ? i'm sure ours are breeding quite well with no issues, though i'm no Beekeeper, but used to work next to one.....maybe it's a climatic thing as well.... but maybe the pheromones are not working well enough !

Pheromones?
Would it be one of the great spiritual changes because of the blood-moon-tetrad?
Are Bees getting spiritual? (who knows??)
Someone said that humanity rely on the bees surviving yet I do not remember who and if s/he is worth trusting.
One thing is for sure, honey is going to be more expensive!

If they have any sense then they’re hiding!
Why are the bees not bringing honey to their hives?
because they are abnormal bees, injected with steroids and in the brain apparently the stuff in the middle is largely white matter, not grey.

There has been a very serious problem with honey bees in U.S. for decades. I believe they call it "failure to thrive" . Bees are a critical step in pollination and large die offs of commercial hives (used in crop pollination) could create mass starvation!
Im really not up to date on the causes and current state of the problem.

Be the season unless hives are weak from a bad winter . Most bees here are fed sugar over winter as the honey is worth big money for the right stuff . Sugar is not as good for the bees as honey .It takes a really good season for hives to recover to take advantage of spring flowers . 295 kgs from my place , $41 a kg this year , wish they were my hives as I get a 15% share .

life,,, a good thread,,
This is a situation that the whole humanity should be aware of,, No bees, no pollination would the end of so many variety of plants/fawn.
In France there's a huge shortage of honey production never seen within 20 years,, a drop from a 32,000 tons to 10,000,, and we are consuming about 40,000 tons per year, 3 out of 4 consume honey in France.
This shortage had been traced to excessive utilization of chemicals in the ground treatment as well as sprays, thus resulting to strict laws limiting it's utilization. Long windy claimate contributes to the cause too. And lately in France, we have noticed the presence of "hornets" from China. From where i am, the west, we're still spared from this shortage, as well as Brittany. The shortage is covered up by importation. I have a good friend, a beekeeper supplies my needs, and i consume regularly.
I have read somewhere,,that Morgan Freeman, concerned by the decline of the bee population has converted his 124 acre ranch into a bee refuge,, hired employees, planted trees and lots of flowers, and turned himself into a beekeeper.

Hi bab! Sorry to hear about the monstrous Asian hornet in France, one sting is often fatal. I hope Europe can eradicate them. I got a few Euro hornets in my attic, theyre huge bees and one stung me , scared me a lot, but it didnt do anything.

Hello raph,,
,,i'm not so familiar of Euro hornets in your attic,, maybe you mean,, cornets of euros,, of which i do prefer.
Well anyways,, "rester prudent" parfois c'est très difficile a vous cerner, parce que , vous êtes vachement serieux a plupart des temps!!

The cause is Monsanto, they created a pesticide which they said would not affect bees, however, it has, it has destroyed their immune system, which has allowed a mite to breed in the bee hives, the mite feeds on the worker bees and so their number has decreased hugely. This terrible disease is now worldwide, and causing a huge problem, without bees pollination will cease, which could cause the end of fruit for example, apples, pears peaches and apricots are traditionally pollinated solely by honey bees. The only country known to be unaffected is New Zealand where the pesticide has not been used. Your friend need to sterilise his hives and reintroduce new swarms, to regenerate his apery.
