pedro27: imo dogs can become sad and depressed, they actually have feelings imo
Yes pedro just like humans they do become sad and depressed.
I forgot to include in my first comment that there was a young dog who was placed from one home to another and was sent back to the Humane Society several times that he became so depressed that he didn't want to play or nothing. All he wanted to do was just sit in his cage.

ive had dogs as pets all my life, they say a dog is a person's best friend in life, i can relate to that in some ways, they depend on us to care and look after them and in return they are our conpanions through thick and thin

allthegoodnamest: Yes, too much alcohol can led to mood changes, so try limiting it down to 3 pints a day & see if there's any change in it's behaviour .

Leaving aside the lack of basic literacy in your posts, it is absurd to even question whether dogs, cats, and other animals have feelings. They do. They are consistently demonstrate more love and loyalty than do mere humans. Think of the personalities in your life whom you considered to be your friends, but turned out to be untrustworthy. How many legs did they have? I rest my case.
As a rescuer, I have seen cats and dogs experiencing all manner of distress, including depression, especially after they've been dumped by the people who meant the world to them, however undeservedly. Often, these worthless people dump these animals because they move and couldn't be bothered to find a place that would accept the animals. The concept of a lifetime commitment is lost on these people, and they shouldn't have animals.
You know those late-night SPCA promos that show animals dumped in shelters with empty-eyed, crushed-soul looks on their faces? That's the look animals get when the realization sets in that the person who meant the world to that animal has just cast them aside as if they meant nothing. It's the expression People who choose not to keep their commitments to their animals grind onto those poor creatures' faces with the heel of their heartlessness. These people never see that look because their backs have turned and they're out the door by the time it sets in, but, if you were a rescuer, as I am, you'd know that look. I have seen that look hundreds of times, and I've helped heal the wounds, mental and physical, of animals who were so carelessly dumped by such cruel people. I'd rather take a bullet, or 50 bullets, rather than put that any of my cats' faces, and I will keep them with me, no matter what, period.
