battery might be on the way out..how old is battery?

if your battery is also 13 years old, its done! new battery, job done. id recommend getting this sorted asap or you ll get stuck somewhere. roughly 100 euro

no battery would last 13 years..usually 4 or 5 years max

i suspect its only the battery. nothing to worry about. change it and job done. old micras are bomb proof. how old do you think the battery is?

id say its the battery to be honest but it could be time to get a mechanic to look at it just to be sure and go from there

My opinion- If you havent done something like left the headlights on to make it go flat, its probably worn out. However, if the terminals are loose or not making good contact due to corrosion etc., it may not be getting charged. Rarely is it the alternator, if it is usually the charge light will be lit up on your dashboard.

sounds like a cheap battery. theyre not suppoe to very good and generally dont last very long

Mine was a petrol.
It used to pass the NCT without a bother.
