Romance is one of the best parts of being in a relationship, or even the prelude to.
Surprising the one you love by planning something like a very nice massage with all the cool things like aromatic candles that evoke a relaxation and then a nice spa experience in one of the more quiet and where everything is focused on letting that special person have that time...that time out. And then showing up with some goodies and maybe even something nice to wear...depends on how good you are at knowing the likes and needs of your loved one. Then most likely whisked away and taken to the "Brasserie Montmartre" for some fantastic tasty dining and music with a favorite wine or drink.
By that time it may be nice for her to find out you have already reserved a suite in a very nice hotel for the weekend and to just spend a few days doing all the fun things that you both enjoy. It is really great to not only give these things but also some nice gifts and the quality time and I think it is sometimes best to know what that special person finds romantic as well so you do not push anyone into something that might make them feel uncomfortable.
Another thing is to go to our coast when it is really stormy and get a place with the hot-tub high above the rocks and the balcony and just melt there together while you open a bottle of champagne or wine...whatever is most enjoyable. Something about relaxing together and watching the ocean tossing around and you are nice and warm yet that fresh air makes you feel exhilarated. There are so many things to have romance in subtle and also in sometimes more elaborate ways. pretty much anything you can imagine~

It's more everyday stuff for me, taking someone into consideration, hearing that they think of you and want to be with you and wanting to put a smile on my face.
