It would be a great idea for the UN to declare the US an insane asylum and all the countries would gladly contribute to the building of a wall around the US so none could escape and cause trouble. I think that all countries, rich and poor would would be ecstatic...a world free of americans, especially all those deplorable, despicables and of course, the disgusting...laugh

Actually my mother taught me to distrust and hate my neighbour; years later the military taught me how to blow-up his house and kill the neighbour then sent me to travel the world, visiting exotic, far off lands; to meet exciting and unusual peoples and kill them. Wake up Pollyanna, we do not live in a world live and let live. It's a world of live and let die.grin

After 911 the new laws made it harder for Americans to leave America and to come back.

The new laws didn't stop illegals from coming to America.

The wall is to keep US in, not to keep terrorists out.

Saudi Arabians flew the planes into the towers; and they're still allowed to fly in...

Mexican's can still come to America, and under bid US citizens for American jobs.

The wall is only to keep Americans prisoner.

We live in a world where, if you see Kattte, you'd better kill him before he kills your children and rapes your wife.

Baby killer.

Not totally closed, no, yet every nation in the awoken world does protectionism. All of today's winning developers did and still do that. In a western setting protectionism could be used to help the swathes of the western world which used to be developed catch-up to the rest. The rust belt doesn't need developed world polices, it requires developing world policy. Detroit is not the first world.

China built the great wall of China and it did not really help them much in the long run.

And as a Mexican you know that poverty and misery in Detroit means better jobs for Mexicans. Your nationalism masquerades under the banner of western liberalism but you know exactly what you're doing: Mexico first! American lives mean less to you than Mexican lives, which I can understand, but that's why you support diversity. If you were the one losing under diversity then you'd feel a whole lot differently. Non-westerners supporting western liberalism makes perfect sense.

And this isn't a criticism.

The criticism would be levelled at a status liberal. If you were a Mexican who supports white liberals, not because it helps Mexico, but to try and look good then that's the worst of them all. That's a step away from putting bleach on your skin to make it whiter as a little imitating pawn like so many women do in Africa. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt when I say that you support diversity out of Mexican national interest and not because of moral posturing to curry favour with the right kind of white people.
