galrads: Anaroach, I think most people are narcissus to a large extent, maybe not 100 %, but they have learned to disguise it.
If most people have traits similar to the narcissist
doesn't mean they are,,,,,, there is a point where diagnosis is made
i guess,,,,, because i don't know,,,,,,, if you fulfill a certain criteria,, then the pro, can say ,,yes
this person fills this criteria, at which point after much assessment .the diagnosis is made.

annaroach: I have taken up reading more, lately.
In Greek Mythology i read about the Greek tragic figure Narcissus
who treated anyone who loved him with disdain,, as he only loved himself.
He saw his reflection in the river and fell in love with it .
This cold and vain figure, is dismissive and indifferent............SO......my question to those of you who care to
to take part is................Has anyone any experience of such a tragic figure,,,,( only if you want to share)
Does such a person exist,,,, that is so consumed with self, and is not capable of loving another.
In recent times i think i have noticed some traits on here , but not sure if it is full blown Narcissism
How could someone fall for someone,, ,,if he/she undervalues them.

2intrigued: Back in my working days, we had a supervisor who was very much a narcissist...boasting about everything he has and how important he is. It wasn't long before all those who worked under him figured him out and boy did we ever embarrass him a lot with pranks. Of course, none of it changed his attitude but his attitude got him fired. Instead of admitting defeat, he lied and said he wasn't fired but took on a CEO position elsewhere which we all knew was bs. Anyway, it's best to be aware of the signs early on but some are quite professional at it.
Yep according to the Experts,,, telling lies and being in denial, are two of the signs
as well as many more of course,,, they are endless!!
