Yes.
Many moons ago I was sick and got a lot heavier. It is not that I couldn't find a partner, but when all of this was resolved and I was within my BMI index, I got a LOT more attention.
Guys that wouldn't have given me the time of the day were suddenly all over me (and no, I wasn't flattered
nor desperate 
)
Different strokes for different folks and if someone has a personality like a dead fish, they can be pretty and slim as much as they like and not being able to get into a relationship - but it is a LOT easier to meet guys if you fit in a nice, flattering dress and are happy in your skin.

I find it rediculous when I go to a public health center or hospital and sit down I find myself in a triple-wide chair. My arms are to short to reach the chair’s arms. The wheelchairs are built Different here too. They have six wheels and suspension systems,

Hmmm, being happy in someone's skin is positive and some people do have self confidence issues because of being overweight.
In general yes, self confidence is attractive and it is not attractive to sit through a meeting of whatever kind to have someone whinging. Has been a major turn-off for me with a guy in the past - btw. weight wasn't the issue there.
