I do understand your point,, some collectors going way too far with collecting different staff so they have horrible clutter in their homes.. I think it's more psychological issue.. real collectors do not clutter and collect reasonable quantities. My humble opinion..

Yeah many hoarders classify themselves as collectors.

I dont mind storage wars, but its getting a bit same old same old.
Which reminds me, I got a letter from the real estate today, inspection next week. Have to get rid of a few dead cats and some Elvis memorabilia. Maybe even spray some glen 20 around the place.

Old instruments when I can afford them or see them being tossed out just because I can't stand seeing them destroyed, and fishing gear for the same reason. Some books, not that I read a lot but I just like having a library for when others might like too. Old tools and now black smithing equipment but that is more because I have started smithing and need them for ongoing working of the forge.Old,heavy duty industrial metal fittings and things like that. Besides the fact that I just love the look of some of these I also use them in constructing my sheds and stuff as it makes something new look old just because of the fittings used. :)

I also collect seeds. One day I will have the most fantastic garden, when I manage to set up the pond system to collect enough water to keep it all healthy. :)
