In other news the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce is recommending that we give £10000 to everyone under 55 to help weather the storms of an ageing population, Brexit, and the rise of the machines. The reactionary retired who grew up spoiled by social democracy, high wages and free uni are do everything they can to make capitalism harsh for the young in the hope this will spare more resources for their pension, but the reactionary retired will have to contend with a rebellion from many of those still useful to society. You can bet young and working age people vote in coming elections like they've never voted before reacting to this attempt by the old to eat the young.
