Well I'm not sure how long I'll stay at this new job of mine, but it's given me a huge opportunity to kickstart a new career at a ... cough... mature age My favourite quote being "your goals minus your doubts , equal reality".
So I plan to give it at least 12 months, saving my $$, then next year spread my wings and go travelling again

The UK is calling, although I understand it will be different from last time I'd like to spend more time in London this time around and soak up the history

With all the bad press London has received, I've yet to see a city with such diverse culture & history. A city that has everything from fine dining restaurants to the beautiful architectures.... There are also places where they speak the English language !!!!I'd like to spend more time in London this time around and soak up the history then head out into the countryside
But if you want to venture into the countryside, the Lake District and the Cottswoulds, are well worth a visit .

I got attacked by flocks of giant geese and assorted other feathered creatures but that's just me lol (my daughter was assaulted by squirrels in Hyde Park, that's how we roll apparently )
Would definitely go there again, Cotswolds sounds lovely too
