Has anyone heard the news about the yellow vest protesters urgeing the french people to withdraw their money from the french banks this saturday the 12th of january ? I heard the news yesterday but waited until today to findout more info about it, is the media in your country quiet about it ? These actions of the common french people may stir up the french government and the ECB, it is going to be an interesting day in france.. Power to the people and a great example to the rest of the world on how to deal with governments and the dictator central banks.
Most banks are closed on Saturday in France and those that do open in the mornings are so few and small as to have no effect whatsoever. Oh and there is a daily limit on ATM withdrawal so that won't work either. Better to make it today Friday, but please make sure Santander is left alone,
hehehe Yellow vest protesters to withdraw all their euros in massive run on French banks, they might but I think then EU would step in. Eventually a guillotine will appear

No, hadn't heard about that.
But I wish they would. If everyone tried to withdraw their funds, the bank couldn't pay them, and the entire system would collapse. Then finally we might get banking reform.

The saturday banking is similar here with banks open half the day and limits on ATM withdrawals, the people won't get all their money out in 1 day... but they have all the time in the world to get their money out. They are planning to have another bank run next month too.

It will be interesting on what actions the EU, ECB, IMF, world bank and world trade organization will take. Will they send in the jackels ? the jackels being NATO or the UN army.

The banking system worldwide is in trouble and it needs reforming. But the way in which the yellow vests are putting their point across is a good example of how the common people of the world could have power over over the governments and the banking cartel.

Italian minister in support of yellow vests. Macron slinging all he can at Italy for support of the YVs. Macron looks like a man that is losing control of the country and is desparate, yet he has plenty of advice to dish out to Italy and Venezuela.

France is a country of luxury wages and antiquated jobs, swathes of it is run and there's lots to do with nobody doing it. It's a different place to the countries of Reagan and Thatcher with our peanut wages and spurious tasks, nobody can honestly claim the French don't need a kicking.

charles_nz: Not in my house, they're not.
The French are a great people, with a great culture, great language, great sense of humour, and balls.
Good on ya mate, we can't all be hater's of the french i've had no problems from them in my life time. And your right they have balls to stand up to elites of France, now macron is trying make it illegal to protest.
Seen no queues at my bank and yes it's open, not even discussed during the morning cafe with my mates. As for earning more no they don't but will agree with the enormous amount of civil servants and beurocrasy.
