Actually I must have two, for Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead was very important for me, but on nr 1 it will be Ronnie James Dio, he sung with Black Sabbath, Dio, Glover and Friends (love is all), Heaven and hell.
He was a unique man with an unique voice.

Oh Prince...for sure....a nightmare to work with alledgedly..but pure genius musically....I wish too the likes of JS Bach and Beethoven would come back...I'd love to see what they'd make of what the kids are doing now with classical music....e.g. Adagio for strings....which I love, both the original and the club remix...we've come full circle musically...

That is a very good question. The first person who comes to mind is Janice Joplin. I'm sure I will think of others. I just remembered another Charles Aznavour.

David Bowie. Famous people dying feels nothing like losing somebody close, apart from old David. There'll never be another like him all human history you know my view is that those born between 1940 and 1950 represent the zenith of human creativity, to have combined classic discipline with modern expression. They were the first generation to become free and the last generation to receive a proper education.
