Tuesday2018: I find the use of the word toxic a really nasty way to describe another human being......chemicals are labelled toxic...not some person who's probably got all sorts of problems to deal with....it's highly judgemental too.....

bodleing2: I agree, the use of the word toxic to describe a person is quite distasteful and reflects more on the person using it than the person it's aimed at. Apart from that, I believe there's no such thing as a 'toxic' person, a toxic relationship, maybe.

ChesneyChrist: A lot of this self-help literature is just what careerists made up to attack the laid back. Not everybody is that opportunistic and mercenary.
I simply remove myself from the picture. Taking a step back, find a safe, quiet place in nature with it's inherent purity. Then I take some time to clear my mind, specifically focussing on getting my mind as quiet as possible. Setting aside the daily drama until my soul starts breathing again.
Nature is my salvation. If I don't get my nature fix at regular intervals, I suffer from withdrawal symptoms...

Yes, nature is great at healing all ailments. The question is: What if you don't have all that free time on your hands, what heals you then?
