Ayhauasca is being successfully used for drug addiction.
Instead of numbing you, you get a little while to look directly in the face of the demons you're hiding from.
I never tried it; but I got similar results on mushrooms, peyote, mescaline, and lsd.
I was a 17 year old wino, with puss filled wine sores that didn't heal, shakes, and dt's.
That went away real fast, once I got to see a different perspective.
