The difference between the genders and the pressures are related to the better education,and equal rights to both men and women.

Communication requires understanding that not everyone "says" the same idea the same way., or express in the same language, ("language" is a factor, as most of us speak "engrish" and not "perfect English".) and that factor is mostly ignored.
Second, just because we differ about a subject, does not mean that we can not communicate. (if the interlocutor does not try to "downgrade" the other )

Very hard to generalise on something like this.
Can only speak to my experience where loneliness is not gender specific, when it comes to having a partner.
I've been in a relationship & felt extremely lonely, more so than when I've been single. I know plenty of women who want a partner for a whole variety of reasons & the same with men, so in answer to your question, no, I don't think so
