The music and lyrics are really at the opposite ends of the scale, isn't they? The music is happy but the lyrics are anything but. Its interesting and cool. I like it.
I would say....marriage is a loaded gun, not love, for love is wonderful, you feel like up in the air, all seems pink and full of laughter cause you're in love, but marriage is awful, horrible, destroys your bank account, moral values, eats your fico score on a daily basis.
Miss_Cellaneous: One of my favourite songs. Sing this all the time at Kareoke when I go there. Beautiful song and not really an Ozzie kind of song...........
Track16: Drugs (drink is a drug) and music is very much hand in hand way back to classic composers who were usually 3 parts in the bag from drinking all day. These days I still smoke pot but back in my wilder days, I dabbled with pretty much anything I could get my hands on because the cold hard truth is that drugs do change and sometime enhance your musical prospective (60s acid rock for example).
If anyone ask me my advice on it today, I will tell them that if they never touched drugs before, just don't, not even pot. If that person however is weak minded like me and have to have a vise, my advice would be to smoke pot and don't touch anything else, not even alcohol. Pot is the only drug that after 25 years, it still works where as other drugs just take over, reprogram your brain, and leave you in ruins.
I totally understand where you're coming from. I was naive for 30yrs. Never touched a drug in my life but now I realise that prescription drugs are "still" a drug. Just because they are "prescribed" doesn't make them any better than illegal drugs. When I went into Hospital for my hip replacement, 2 months ago, I told them NOT to give me "Tramadol/ Volterol/ Valium "Diazepam" as I was allergic to them. It was a big lie, I know but it stopped them giving them to me. I know a little bit about "prescribed" medication as I worked in that "field" for many years and it pisses me off that because a "Dr/Surgeon" prescribes them, then it makes it "alright" It angers me so much but what can I do about it? only warn my friends or people that I know when it comes up in a conversation. I can't rule the World..........I need to "lighten" up sometimes and enjoy some music.......

Script drugs can be the worst, doctors hand them out too much sometimes, big problem with opieds here, lot of people who get hooked on them start out being prescribed to them by the doctor for some issue. I seen people go from upstanding citizens to junkies because of them.
