Mercedes_00: First of all your sparkling clean oven is exactly like mine

Of course it ruined it..I use to work in a very hot kitchen at a carvery shop..I was in that shop at 4am every morning cooking huge slabs of lamb beef & pork.

I know the ins and outs of perfection when it comes to roasting meat..Yep I can't drive a car but I bloody know how to cook up a storm for real!~
wow can’t drive a car period or cant drive a car with A manual transmission dunno

Restaurant made ( Indian) Chicken Nilgiri with rice - all the restaurants n takeaways have been closed for a week now so this was to celebrate my foresight in having bought a couple and froze them !

Those were the days ... back when you could pop out and have Indian food at your mate's restaurant eh !

Fresh barramundi with a pear rocket salad & rice

Barramundi a good fish to eat?

Packed with nutrients for a healthier you
With half the calories of salmon, barramundi is still packed with Omega-3 fatty acids (known to promote both brain and cardiovascular health) and offers 34 grams of lean protein in a six-ounce serving.

Personally,I think that would depend on farmed or wild caght, more likely farmed down south.

Wild caught have eyes that glow red, farmed are green. Kind of indicates they've been mucked around with.

My main seafood joint shut with another opening soon..I could go further where they have the right stuff..Up the road is a little mall it has a fresh seafood shop with not much variiety and to be honest I don't like buying there because when it's sunny they have flies buzzing around it all..No flies today and to be honest I just went to the little mall to see people I don't know..Had no intentions of buying it..I'm very fussy with my food but today I lapsed laugh

Well, one advantage of barra is it does not come from Sydney harbour, which is heavily contaminated from dieldrin, waste product of making agent orange for the Vietnam war.

Barra are the best sports fish to catch, I'd say not a patch on coral trout or Spanish mackerel as a table fish.

Unless you eat it every day its probably not a big issue. The body can deal with a certain amount. I think the advise was no more than a hundred grams a week west of the harbour bridge...

I like how you know the ins and out of seafood as I like to know the ins and out when it comes to my seafood if you know what I mean..I do surf the net for info but it doesn't go in to detail of areas here like you do..I'm addicted to salmon but once or twice a week I like a nice crispy skin Barrumundi because the nutrients is the skin.
