One of the most erroneous teachings in modern medicine, which is based on the theory of pathogenic microbes by Louis Pasteur, is certainly the study of viruses as causes of infectious diseases. It is no coincidence that this lie, wrapped in scientific dogma, received exceptional treatment in the second half of the 20th century. Behind it today stands the world's scientific elite (or pseudo-scientific) and all the leading health authorities. No wonder, because this dogma has proven to be a great tool, not only for a profitable business selling vaccines, but also an effective way to keep people in fear and, if necessary, deprive them of basic human rights by imposing a law on compulsory vaccination or quarantine (imprisonment)

Precis: severity may increase with viral load.
Antibodies may be produced with low intake of the virus. Masks block some, but not all aerosols. So if you want to develop your own immunity, wear a mask.

When coronavirus started it was said that the mask doesn't actually protect you, because the virus is too small and it enters the mask, but that it reduces spreading if the person who is already ill wears a mask.

In many Asian countries (especially Japan) wearing a mask when you have a cold, flue, etc. is something ordinary and a sign of good behaviour toward others, because in that way the one who is ill protects others and prevents them from catching the disease themselves. A mask also helps you breath easier when you have allergies (pollen is much bigger than viruses so cannot go through the mask that easily).

I have nothing against masks and wearing them, but I still believe that the virus is very small and can enter ordinary masks. However, if all people wear masks, then those who are ill will also start wearing them and this way protect others. Anyway, mask or no mask - the social distancing is important. I wear a mask in shops and busy streets where social distancing is impossible and don't wear it when walking by the river, etc. where you hardly ever meet anyone.

After all, coronavirus is a virus. A very fast-spreading and contagious virus, but - a virus, so everything one does to protect themselves from other viruses should be applied here - washing your hands, avoid touching nose/mouth/eyes with dirty hands, keep social distancing, avoid big gatherings, drink and eat with clean cutlery, clean your shoes and the items you bought that might have be in touch with the virus, etc, etc. And hope for the best.

To be honest I don't understand why people need this explaining to them. It's not hard to work out. It's not counter intuitive, and it's not like we've never come across viral infections before..This should be common sense....

What people may not realise is "viral load" is important Really important.

If only a small number of the virus gets into your body, and assuming you have a somewhat reasonable immune system it will be able to build antibodies faster than the virus can multiply to dangerous enough levels...The antibodies will not only kill the virus off, but also mean the person has some protection going forward...(or permanently if they're lucky).

If a lot of the virus gets inside the body, that's a high viral load. Each individual virus can multiply and because the viral load is high, the growth rate is exponential and the immune system won't be able to ramp up enough antibodies fast enough to kill them off. So the immune system will be playing catch up..and that's when someone gets ill....

Wearing a mask, social distancing, washing your hands and not going into crowd or indoor spaces with other people will keep the risk of getting a high viral load low...ergo a lot of virus getting into your body. and that will give your immune system a good fighting chance to kill of any virus that does get into your body...

Sadly too many people just either don't believe a word you say or simply can't get their head around it ..and most of them end up saying it's a lie..a hoax..a conspiracy....and not wearing their masks/social distancing etc...

If this virus doesn't mutate into something weaker we could end up having to infect people deliberately Imagine the day out the conspiracy theorists and hoaxsters will have on that one!!
