No, I want to meet a single (widowed, divorced) man with grown-up children who live independent lives. That being said, my chances to find anyone soon are pretty slim.
Either I have to date someone a lot older than me (and that doesn't seem too appealing
) or I have to stay single until I reach a certain age, so those men don't seem too old any more.
No love for me for some more time...

Tough call. The “ ideal” ready- made family(s), such as “ The Brady Bunch” and “My Three Sons” ( yes, this antique sit- com starring Fred MacMurray pioneered mixed/ blended families with a foster- son and later, the widower getting married and the sons now having a new Mom.) The Brady Bunch pioneered the exclusion dislike, with Carol once saying, “ the only “ steps” in this house are the ones that go up to the bedrooms”. I’m from a home with “ steps”, but it wasn’t lovely at all, and I lived with my grandparents from 10 on...I’m not saying you shouldn’t consider it, tomcatty, but th sails need to be firmly set and everyone on the same silk route and frequency.My recent g/f of six years has a family of three girls, ranging from primary school to university in age, they are wonderful girls and we get on.
