rohaan: Whew! I guess I thought I was validating you...sorry if that was missed. Not falling on my sword here, but I’ll sure stay out of your way. After all, it’s just the internet...and we all seem to be using pseudo-names, anyway. I do believe in some of the members here, no, not all, and I like them. If I’m living in a dreamy fool’s paradise, please don’t wake me. I’m happy in my misguided mediocrity. Peace and blessings, and yes I really mean it. ( Your response actually did hurt, shocked, in fact. But I’ll re-boot...
Ah I'm sorry Rohaan. it's been a long eventful day so I must've misread you and what you were trying to say..

A dreamy fools paradise can be a lovely place sometimes...all i was trying to say was like them as much as one likes on here..but be careful when moving to the real world with them..really careful, that's all I was saying...sadly far too few heed that advice and end up in all sorts of bother...

sorry Rohaan I didn't mean to hurt your feelings at all.....that's genuinely not who I am, But yeh, I know I can be a bit brutal sometimes...it's taken me years to develop it and turn it into a fine art laugh laugh

blathin: Yeh ...this^^^^ is how many many Irish deal with people who have the nerve to speak up and speak out..

FYI When you write something on a forum you are inviting responses. If you don't want a response then don't write it..When you write total BS and lies....then you can expect to be corrected with the truth....

Your Ireland? Is a total fantasy dear girl..

The rest isn't worth even acknowledging because.it's nothing more than mindless bile from some doormat of a human being....
Wow more insults...its a pity they were wasted on me, you an have all them back as it matters not on wit what you think of me...

Please tell us all the bleeding heart that you are what you have done to help poor ole Ireland come out from under the rug and help all the poor defenceless people you listed in your first response?

Tell us the hours you have spent with your local td...radio station, protests outside the dail to help all the people in ireland who have been hurt and ruined? Tell us? We are dying to know.

Yes My Ireland..
I live in a different country to you.
Whereas I recognise all the faults, but I'm not a hypocrite who writes words and thinks that that's enough to help any victim.

You seem to either be one of these victims, if so then sorry for your troubles, or else you are bitter and old and would rather spend the rest of your life blaming others for your current situation rather than live your life with whatever cards you were dealt and make the most out of it.

Say what you want about Ireland and I'll say I which to say....glass half full, I cant out my arms around the world, neither can you.

So unless you can show us proof that you are putting your money where your mouth is I suggest kindly that you keep it shut.

I think all these issues , some have been highlighted, I dont think ireland is waiting with baited breathe for dear oul blaitin to show us all the light.
Your a mere dot in the universe dear girl, come down off your station and be kind to yourself and those around you and I think you'll find you'll spend the rest of your life happy, rather than bitter and twisted that you come across now.

Not to set aside your latest kinder words to me (appreciated..) I’m at sea reading your seemingly grudging, negative commentary to OTHER members here...confused for myself, it’s inconsistent with the pleasant, courteous atmosphere I see CS as being developed for...you are confusing...’lil bit...

I don't understand why some of you guys are dissing Irish people.

I married a man with Irish ancestors and found no fault with his ancestry.

My daughter married a man with Irish ancestors and they traveled to Ireland to meet them.

Not to long ago I met someone on CS who lives in Ireland and found no fault with him except I could only understand every other word that he said.

And now I have a friendship (not lovers) with another man in Ireland.

confused

Rohann,,it's a part of Ireland that's been kept hidden and hushed up for decades...There's just too much for me to explain it here in one sentence but trust me, if you understood it in it's entirity, without bias, you'd be equally outraged at it.

Anyone with any sense of fairness and the right for others to live with their dignity in tact agree...Sadly, there is a very large cohort of Irish who think otherwise...and so far two of them have shown they'd rather make it about my character than the issues I was talking about....That should speak for itself as to their view..

Watch the film " A song for a raggy boy"....and then come back and tell me how it made you feel...look up what the catholic church did in Ireland and the people's wall of silence, if not out right support for what they did.....and maybe then you might have a little better understanding of what I'm talking about..

I'm not gruding or negative. I'm just vocal and they can't stand it....so they try to make me the target and call me names like "bitter old woman"...Water off a duck's back ...because there's loads of Irish just like them. They hate it being highlighted, because lets face it, it's so so shameful... so they try to attack someone like me and make it personal....

snowlynx: It would be nice to see you leave, as you did the last time, only this time don't return.
yeh I was wondering when you'd show up with your usual snide little comments...

I find you to be one very creepy character...slithers in, has nothing to add other than nasty comments and slithers back out again....

It's also creepy that you've noticed I wasn't around for a while...Policing people's movements on here are you??? Eh?

deedee123xo: I have never made it known nor said what I think of anything that has happened in your list of what's happened in my country...so how would you assume to know my feelings on it when I havnt chosen to tell you in particular on this site.

I do really feel sorry for you though, your level of stress must be through the roof and factor in you're clearly living alone it must be hard.
So I think I'll leave you be to your agenda whatever it is, not because I dont care about my country , but because you're simply not interesting enough nor are you able to converse like a normal person.

Alright boss!!! ????
Youre right. You didn't. You spent your whole time talking about me. And it's really boring.. ..Jesus even six year olds don't carry on like you have..

Annnd she's still going on about me...roll eyes

I know how poor the Irish education system is when it comes to basic literacy skills. And the odds are you never learned how to have an actual conversation with turning it into a personal slagging match...so why don't you go away and learn how NOT to take everything so personally and understand that not everything people say is a personal assault on you..

and now she's going on about my living alone?? Jesus wept, they say there's no such thing as a pure vacuum but I think I've found one....

As it happens you're way way way off the mark..but you're free to think what you like..

By the way...what's wrong with living alone? Only the truly backward would see that as being a bad thing...

rolling on the floor laughing
Who are you talking to, oh right yourself, the only one who listens to you.
Calling me names then asking not to take it personally..
You are the definition of a joke lovey.
No wonder you left Ireland, I bet driven out.

I see your poison driven posts across the forum here to other posters, you are right I shouldnt take it all personally, you are just a lousy human being to everyone....fair play at least you are not preying on one but all here.
I see how others have the same opinion as me, just leave ,no one wants you here...you wont be missed and close the door on your way out sweetheart.

And that goes for my lovely country too!! One good thing to come of Covid, you cant come back for the foreseeable.

Get back to whomever you are living with, or have you bored them to tears too??

Alright boss????
