I’ve always wondered why waffles and pancakes taste so different—same batter.. Say, while I have you on the line, please read my latest thread ( cat issue) I just posted. How ‘bout a wee Irish wisdom here?

Hey Rohaan, I'll have a looksee, I'm not so knowledgeable on cats though..
I like french pancakes the way my mother made them... Made with beer...very thin with air bubbles... Brown sugar sprinkled on top with butter (optional)
I also like crêpes Suzette and.... crêpes au sarrasin slightly salted .

well my fav is the mango surprise, a desert I discovered in Vietnam. 2 double folded pancakes filled with mango and on top some icecream and warm chocolatesauce. Yesterday I made some pancakes with bacon, banana and syrup, also jammie, have some stuff left so today I will bake them with bacon, ananas and cheese.
I was just browsing recipes on CS this morning and some unknown member posted, "The fluffiest pancake in the world Recipe" (actually Chef Gordon Ramsay's recipe). I've also heard them called Japanese Souffle Pancakes. Check 'em out. They look delightfully yummy.
