Happygolucky4u: I was reading the post on this thread and I don't think I am using facebook correctly The majority of people on my facebook are actual friends, people I went to school with or have worked with. People from town.. And relatives which I got a bunch of them It has people on it I like to stay in touch with. Here I look in once in a while to see how some peeps are doing that otherwise would not know. The difference is how I use facebook (to stay in contact) And here is more like a learning lesson. A practice at comprehending what I read. I use to read and I swear when I would go back and reread it it would not be what I read the first time I have improved through out the years
I wish, I had your attitude to this place...
** considering to read at least twice every post I plan to answer on henceforth **
Jeannineanne: Big difference, CS was good but now it's completely dead, you have anything you want on Facebook, CS seems to be stuck in a time , CS is goin down hill fast, Pity because it was a good ,
Yapp!! There were times, when CS was good. The thing is: it's in our hands - the place is as good as the participants :)

Good times on forum sites are history. The problem is that people use them differently then they did a dozen or fifteen years ago. Additionally, all the good thread topics have been done to death. So now it's not about flirting and having fun. It's about whiny twats wanting to be heard.
OT: I didn't read the original post, but I don't see how you can compare the two. It is truly apples to oranges. Here, you are literally talking to anyone in the world. Facebook you are talking to a few friends.

There's always a new angle to an old topic. And there is a lot of old topics that stand to be repeated. Agree, though, on whiny twats.
There are similarities and there are differences even between apples and oranges. Both are fruits. Both are round. Both are better when matured :)

well then we have a big problem , Fake Profiles, No profile pic, with FB you CAN choose your friends, block people with no profile pic, don't get me wrong a lot of nice people on here, but also some nasty ones hiding behind faceless profile,

But we compare two social media in this thread, so your perception is as valid as anybody else's. Especially as you are quit right :)
Though, I've got in a situation on FB, when I couldn't choose: one of my nearest co-workers, and kinda my boss, found me there and made a friend request. Couldn't deny her that :/

Yes I can see where you are coming from But I still think it's up to CS to put a stop to faceless profiles ,
Tulefell: How does this site differs from FaceBook for you?
The main difference for me is that I can block certain people's posts from my view there, but not here.
Years ago Block capability was a tool allowed on cs threads for the original poster. I think it worked well to keep out the seemingly endless trolls on cs who think they are a gift from the universe for all to adore. Meaningful threads or cs people staying on topic is near impossible in the cs forums today. People on cs forums whined and complained to the cs company and the block tool in the forum threads disappeared. Most of these whiners live on islands or central and western europe.

So all the ones you post are meaningful
All you seem to do these days is whine about the UK and Europe.

i don't want to lecture you about carrying around too much fear, how it causes cancer, but that may be why cancer is spreading in your country. a bloke told me one time that he could use anything to his advantage, just try to be like him, and use the forum as a recycle bin.
