Cranky_Geezer: I don't message often and when I do it is typically someone from the forums that wrote something clever and interesting. I, in turn, will attempt to write something witty and clever.
Be aware that this only works if you're actually witty and clever. If banter is not a strength of yours then at least be warm, friendly, engaged, and a bit flirty.
Selenite: Messages I don't reply to "hi, how are you?" ... Why? Because I'm not about to tell a total stranger how I am.
Others I don't reply to "Hello dear" Hello gorgeous" "Hello beautiful" blah blah blah blah
Or others saying "I really like your profile and blah blah blah we could be a good match blah blah blah" ... my profile says not looking so they obviously didn't read it ...
In my opinion, the best messages are those that stand out either because they're witty or interesting and it shows they read your profile...
I agree with all the above
I myself like someone who can quote something from my profile and ask me about it.

I see you got some good tips on messaging. I would like to add when you end your email, end it with a question. Not how are you though Ask something about their area? Or what do they like to do? Also do not send personal emails addresses etc. in first email. I do not usually date. I had a guy a while back message me on another social forum and ask me if I would go out with him. We had friends in common in our area. He also said he was fun. That got my attention. I love fun sadly he was not. We managed one very nice date and some really sad phone calls. He was not responsible. I like responsible people. Best wishes

Yes lots of them just cheeky responses. But it was fun reading through them.

A doll with mammoth jugs send her profile and pics on the sea shore. I told her her pictures reminded me of how much I loved the sea.

Now look here folks. I've been at this for a long time. And i know stuff. And to me, The Good Old Days were always the best. Thru the years, i've found this to be so. And now, i'd like to impart my wisdom onto you. Here is your line, always the best and most effective, yet sensitive way to capture a woman's heart. "How about a little pu**y?" Try it ffs! Do it right now!
And stay tuned for my next post on: "How to use your cell phone when you can't talk cuz somebody just knocked all your teeth out."
