Watch a movie titled “Just Visiting”. Two medieval friends are swept into modern Chicago. It is an absolute riot. One of the few movies I would watch more than once. I can’t help but thinking, should the scenario unfold as you describe, that ‘somebody’ would have a heart attack or a severe nervous breakdown. Hell, that happens to some people who are USED to it!

Or 150? My dad went from coal to electric, phones, TVs, cars. I have a land line while others use little computers they carry around in pockets. I worked on cars of the 50s, 60s, 70s. Now open the hood on my 02 and wonder where the halibut the blasted engine is! Dont even put me in a new car. How on earth do you start it?!
I grew up on a black and white TV with 3 channels. Now TVs are flat, hung on a wall and huge. People connect to cable and get more channels of nothing to watch than ever dreamt of.
Went long ago to see the movie "Avatar". Still trying to figure out how that plant fluff came from BEHIND me and drifted forward to the screen.
Seen clothes go from style to style and back again. Store chains come and go. China closed to filling Dollar Stores. Wars to end all wars to morph into more wars. Humans land on the moon and fly around the earth.
Weapons undreamt of invented to cause mass casualties on peoples minding their own business, to un-manned drones that kill one person miles away.
Show todays kid a rotary phone and have a good laugh.
