All lengths of hair can look great, imo. A change of hair once in awhile in a woman can provide an appealing variety; it doesn't have to be one length forever.

All the guys seem to love long hair. mines below my hips and was to my knees befor the trajic weedeater accident, but let me tell you they hate it when their vaccuun cleaner tears up and a little long hair shedding seems like a ton. I've had guys request I go out in the cold to brush my hair so it doest ruin the vac

What was their excuse for making such a disastrous mistake?? I hope they compensated you in some way by not charging you for their "mistake" or gave you a case of free hairstyling products?
I always warn them exactly how much I want cutting off and also tell them to make sure they do it properly!
Back to your original point of your thread, the majority of men do prefer long hair. But anyway, it will soon grow back or you could have hair extensions to tide you over, the clip on ones are quite good and don't damage your hair

I have short hair and can't imagine ever growing it long again,my life is sweet and i have never had a problem with guys not liking me...... i understand why your upset,as it's a peeve when hairdressers seem to do what they want to do no matter what you have asked...it will grow back that's the great thing. You look good with the haircut so don't lose confidence ok... :)
plus hair is just hair,we are so much more then hair,the body is just a shell that houses the spirit..your soul shines through,concentrate on enjoying everyday,forget about the hair...

I used to have long hair down to my waist, but I had gotten it cut about 10 years ago. But now I'm letting it grow out again. It's past my neck now and looking really good (but could need a slight trim next month). I like my hair long now, but I'm not going to get it as long as to my waist. Just to the top part of my back. That's long enough for me these days.
