This seems to be a time when no one is around, so, since no one is listening...

Do you find yourself thinking about this community a lot when you are offline and in the 'real world'? Are the people here important to you; feelings, attitudes, responses? Or is it all so virtual that it's more like a video game?

I have to say I've been deeply affected by some things and people.

I've thought about this community when I've been "offline", but then I think back to the times before there was the internet, and people called each other, visited,etc... But then again, I like the internet, and if it disappeared, I would feel restricted. Anyways, yes, friends, I think about this place when I'm not on the pc.

Yes Dbert, when off site, I think about quite a few of the posts and posters. Odd, almost like I'm still connected as I go about my daily stuff. Maybe my brain has gone Wi-Fi. Paws

Good morning dbert.

This place is not virtual to me. Even if I never get the

chance to meet anyone here personally, so many here have

made such a deep impact on my life. I have made so many

friends here, that when I'm off-line, I do think about them

and when they are in pain, I worry about them.

Some of the people here, I would not trade their

friendship for nothing on earth. They have grown a

special place in my heart.

Have a good day, dbert.

Rose.

It's usually about 12:30 or so when I finally sit down to the keyboard and no one else I know is awake, still I do think about this community occasionally and I have done some design work for one of you and that's usually done off line.

Yes, this is definitely more than virtual. Unless my phone is virtual too. lol

Folks are always in thought. But beyond the friendships, I find myself pondering the thought provoking threads, or ones I didn't have an answer to. I've had to stop in the middle of something sometimes to come log on to type something I thought of. lol It's SICK! :)

I should be working now, but I don't wanna.

Yeah, I do think about it when I'm not online. Everybody on here is a real person, everyone has feelings and even though it may be in computer world, real people are still involved.

Yes, I find myself sucked into this virtual world which has slowly unfolded to become more real. I find it a bit frustrating that I joined so late, now the time differences are hard to keep in touch. Lol, whats worse, is I find myself over the course of the day eager to get back to the Mac, back to the people i chat with on here or to read what they have written. Plus, I've noticed when i walk around town and I find something funny, i think to myself LOL. Thats bad! Hugs for all, and thanks for making it so fun!

dbert, I often think about cs when not online. Sunday at church I prayed for many here. Some of my prayers were in thanks, that I've had the opportunity to meet everyone in this way. Some of the prayers were for hope, love and strength, unity ect. I have spoken to others about how awesome the group is w/virtual names of course. Yes alot of you are in my heart when not on line, therefore I have truely been blessed.

OF COURSE!! I love coming here and in fact I am late for work often now as I wake up and find a mailbox full that I feel I MUST answer before I head out the door LOL Flowers galore, can't ignore those! I have grown to love, respect, cherish...and more....so many here. You fill my thoughts, my days and some of you even my life in some small way. Thank you for your time, your heart, your sharing of yourselves and families.

I enjoy reading others responses and insights. Some I look forward to reading, for their logic, humor, and opinions on matters of the heart, as well the gambit of topics that concern us all.

I find myself thinking about CS quite often. I'm also pretty addicted to it and find it difficult to turn off my computer for any length of time.

However, in all honesty I believe that this is a subconscious desire to have a partner in my life. I do know that I also have this overwhelming desire to be able to just shut the computer off and turn around and actually spend real physical time with a living breathing compatible partner. I'm not taking about a romantic sense either, I'm talking about an everyday practical sense of wanting to share constructive goals together. Any romance would be icing on the cake.

In fact, I often get the urge to shut the damn computer off and turn around and do just that, unfortunately there isn't anyone here to hug and share companionship with. So after walking around an empty estate for a bit I come back in and warm up that glowing rock they call a monitor. It represents the illusion of the possibility of a dream that isn't happening.

As much as I hate to say this, if I found a compatible partner I'd say my farewells on CS and completely disappear. It's not that I don't care about the people here, I do, I hope everyone finds they heaven. It's just that if I found mine I'd instantly become too involved with living it that I simply wouldn't have any time left to spend on CS. The priorities in my life would change. For example, it's a beautiful sunny day outside right now.

I'm sure if I had a partner we'd be out there doing something. Maybe preparing the yacht to go sailing, or taking off on a motorcycle ride to go visit antique shops (return later with the pick-up or car to bring back what we bought). We'd just be too busy to bother with CS. Although, if she was also from CS we might tune in for a short time at night just to taunt everyone with our happiness. (ha ha)

It would also be nice to know how everyone makes out. Although I think a lot of people just leave when they find someone and they don’t always give a detailed report about their private affair. Personally I would brag to high heaven in profusely promiscuous prose. (ha ha)

I need to run off to the store right now, and I'm already anxious to get BACK just so I can log back in. I'm a sick man!
