Claayer: Absolutely we were.. we have had the BEST years.. honestly.. The best years of my life have been with her.
and we made (and photographed) the most FANTASTIC memories.. which will last me a lifetime.
Hi Claayer!!! I was with two friends when they passed and I was glad to see them go (both were in a coma). I will remember them through the laughs. You came here looking for a smile so here is my best , what ugly teeth though, . Always remember this; "IF YOU ARE GOING TO REMBEMBER ME WITH TEARS, DON'T REMEMBER ME AT ALL". I THINK to both of you!!!!

You are welcome and I thought as much. I will buy the first round of drinks to you and Trish, because you KNOW she will with you. I am glad my last post wasn't offensive, just the way I would want my friend or friends to react. Chin up baby, news is just recent. Let's party tonight for you and Trish!!! for her life and not her passing.

Clayer...I'm so sorry for your loss. I truly understand the pain of losing someone you love so very much. If you ever need to talk, or cry, or vent, or anything....email me. You and Trish have been in my prayers for awhile now. I know you don't "believe", but I will continue to send positivity your way!

Claayer: I'll be quick because I came here for a SMILE... and don't particularly want to talk about it.. Thankyoooooo soo much for everyone who has prayed for Trish and kept her (and me) in their thoughts.
Thankyou! really. But she finally passed away last night..
I'm glad really.. and so would she be!.. She was wanting to go a few weeks ago.. (she was in so much pain, and hated not being in control any more)
She used the 'borrowed' time she had to organise her own wake and funeral.. got rid of all her clothes and belongings.. closed her bank accounts and all that.. swapped things over into her husbands name.. chose her casket.. and what she was going to wear in it. She was a VERY organised person.. (unlike me).. She kept me on the straight and narrow and (usually) kept me out of trouble.Sooo.. I lost the person who knew me inside out.. my 'Brilliant' travelling companion..
I lost my best friend..
I'm not telling you this for a load of woe is me crap.. I'm not like that.. and she would hate me to be like that too. I stopped crying about it a while ago.. (and so did she) and just waited (and wished for) a speedy inevitable.
I was able to speak to her (barely and briefly-daily)... up until a little over a week ago. So we got to say all the things we wanted to.. I will always be grateful for that.. many people never get that lucky.
I just wanted to let all the people who kept tabs on it all along .. know.
Lots of happy memories Claire, and keep in touch with her hubby if you can.

Hi there Chele, good to see you!!!! Anyone who thought my posts were offensive , they were not, I knew and know where Claayer is coming from and she wants to smile and have a "pick me up", as hard as it is. I feel sooooooooooooo sad for her, but, I understand the want for a laugh or a smile. I understand it only too well. to all. Have to scoot for awhile , see you all later.
Let's toast her wonderful life, and the wonderful memories she left behind. Fianlly, the pain is no more, she is well, and once again, HAPPY.
I toast to that. For the times you had. For the tears of happiness you both shed when rolling on the floor with laughter ...for all the hangovers ... for all the hugs and the comfort
You guys had an amazing life together... And it wasn't coincidence its karma, so you'll find each other again...
I drink to that, cheers
(I'll hold your forehead if by the end of this binge you need to )

Conrad73: I am really sorry to hear that.
Turn, Turn, Turn
Pete Seeger
To everything, turn, turn, turn, There is a season, turn, turn, turn, And a time for every purpose under heaven.
A time to be born, a time to die; A time to plant, a time to reap; A time to kill, a time to heal; A time to laugh, a time to weep. A time to build up, a time to break down; A time to dance an time to mourn; A time to cast away stones, A time to gather stones together. A time of love, a time of hate; A time of war, a time of peace; A time you may embrace, A time to refrain from embracing. A time to gain, a time to lose; A time to rend a time to sew; A time to love, a time to hate; A time for peace, I swear it's not too late.
You might remember that Song.
i saw a biography about ole Pete on the public tv..is he still living? Sorry to hear about your friend claire..my condolences.
