Crystal29: Yeah and youre doing a great job of it

I don't think anyone in scotland will ever forget what the Tory Party did up there, to be honest it just drove people into the hands of the Nationalist camp.

The Tories only give a crap about one group of people, the Tories, and anyone else doesnt matter, after all this was a woman who started a war to be re-elected and closed a mining industry to put people on the unemployment lines.

She certainly did her best for everyone in the United Kingdom didn't she, what a disgrace.

She's one of the most disgusting examples of a politician i can think of.

Another for those "Limpy Ones":

Quote of the Day

You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man's age-old dream—the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order—or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. Regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would sacrifice freedom for security have embarked on this downward path.

—Ronald Reagan, stumping for Barry Goldwater in 1964.

I am sorry that offended you. I am from Illinois and I am not brainwashed that Reagan was one of the greatest presidents that ever lived is all. I think his greatness is blown WAY out of proportion.

I think the last time I saw a survey of great presidents, he was ranked 5th. It's all perspective, if a person is inclined toward a socialistic style of government, they'll like the Jimmy Carter types~

As I said earlier, there's not a thing anyone can say on here that offends me...as usually I consider the source.

Great Post Kansan! I really liked President Reagan. May he rest in peace.

Unfortunately, that clearly isn't happening on this thread

I loved Reagan. His second presiential election was the first time I voted and I voted for him. Probably because my parents were, but nevertheless. I have always liked him.

Isn't that exactly what so many American voters did in 2004?

I don't believe there is an American president in the entire history of the country who has dragged America down as much as the current one--by far the worst president ever.thumbs down thumbs down

I never voted until the "Bush" administration. When Bush senoir was going for pres I swore I would register and vote against. In hindsight I see myself VERY wise!
