My opinion has nothing to do with physical appearances. Let me explain, alison.
98% of the population is unrealistic about what would make them happy. They either have standards that are too high, or too low, they have issues with age differences, issues with political or religious differences, or they have race issues. Bottom line is nobody really knows what the hell to do, and putting them into a dating situation where they're expected to be paragons (mostly these expectations exist in their own minds, because the other person is too busy doing the same thing to have any real expectiations beyond their own narcissistic needs) is so torturous they'd rather do ANYTHING than date.
Yep. Undatable. For a variety of reasons. The other 2% don't date, not because they aren't fit to, but because they are already in happy, stable relationships because they DIDN'T have the above problems.

Don't worry, friend. You are not the only one not fit to date. When I came on this site it was with the feeling that I was the worst person in the world. Since then I have met some great people with whom I have shared many frustrating emotions. I am still working on myself.
Now I share the hurt that others share, as they shared mine. I also share the joy that others share. I have seen love bloom for some and it gives me hope. We all make mistakes in life, but given time we can learn to love again.
The most important thing is to love yourself and to respect others.
