Hum, it depends.
A few glasses of wine over dinner is good, enough to relax them...
But I have never experienced a relationship with a man who drank too much.
Alcohol is a depressant, it is also the bringer of truth....
I love a glass of wine, in the evenings, at lunchtime on my day off.
I did ger really drunk once and told a lady that she should not wear ankle straps as she had chunky ankles....
Nope don't like men that drink too much. Grew up with alcoholic parents and am not going through that again. Maybe their wives/girlfriends come looking for them because they are out every night and not home with them and their families?
I like men better after a couple of shots of cuervo or soaked in alcohol what a scent lol. Just kidding had to say it lol. Jose cuervo you are a friend of mine I like to drink you with a little salt and lime.
My late husband was an alcoholic, and yet he was a very good man. It was the cancer that made him mean eventually, never the alcohol. I joined him at the bar right after work.
Now, I drink very rarely, and very little when I do, and I won't date anyone else who drinks a lot. I will date someone who drinks occasionally, but not an alcoholic again...even though it wasn't a bad experience for me. I just don't want to go back to that life.
I have seen the occasional woman coming in angry to drag her drunken man out of a club, but not too many...but that might be because when I go out it's only to private clubs now. Yes, I still go to them and drink pop, mostly because I have friends there that I like to hang out with occasionally.
In my younger AF days--it was hella fun. Stationed at Charleston AFB with the Navy base close by and the wives (some) played while hubby was away. I didn't have very high morals back then. It's for the youngins.

I will go shoot pool sometimes in a local bar. Like the regular hangouts and usually just order a soda. Have had too many alcoholics influence my life. Their love for demon rum surpassed the love for anyone else and its just too painful to put up with active alcoholics.
coolieno1: ok think about this let's say your boyfriend has a hard day at work an he takes a few drinks an stops 2 c u would you be angry at him for drinking?
No, I would be of the mind, that he is an adult in charge of his own life, body and health.
I do not get angry at partners, if they were late home, then I would make other plans, if we had made plans, then I would simply ok darling, you were foolish, ext time let me know.

Send me a plane ticket to Trinidad. I will help you with this problem!!
The same way as I feel about any human being and alcohol. Sorry but I couldn't name you one reason why alcohol would be good or justifiable to use. I wouldn't of course make a scene if he wanted a "glass of wine" with his dinner, as I don't really care, but I was raised by parents who never put as much as a bottle of champagne on the table, and I prefer it that way.
