Actually, it is very simple.... you play the game and the government takes your money.... you stay home and watch Jerry Springer and get a cut of other peoples money. When the cut becomes equal to what Congess makes along with the bennefits, I too will stay home and watch Jerry Springer. Until then I will make my own way in life and take my friends and family with me.

How does that correlate with government control? Clinton did preside over the most successful economy in America's history. I am not a huge Clinton fan, but at least the tax cuts for small businesses was a huge variable that helped a lot of businesses boom (especially my mom's). I think Obama should raise the bar to maybe medium sized businesses as far as taxing goes...over the 250,000 minimum to 500, 000.

No, that is not how it works Zee...getting a cut of other people's money is applied in sectors where your pursuit of whatever does not carry such a heavy burden. It evens out in the end for the joe shmoe...especially the regular joe's who will never be rich.
Nobody is going to take ALL OF YOUR MONEY. The fact is that the system has failed one to many times. It needs to be evolved with capitalist and socialist measures. A happy balance voted in by the people.

I guess there is no middle class then is what you're saying???...Just the rich and the poor...and apparently you don't mind it staying that way...the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and yes you're correct the middle class is dying off and turning into the poor because of it!!!!!!!
Try to think beyond yourself to the rest of the country and what's best for the country overall...is it a 2% tax increase to 2% of businesses who make over 250,0000.00 or the remaining 98% who don't and represent the whole country....and won't be effected by the tax increase...realistically..look at the economy..there is no room for tax cuts and tax increases are needed to bring in revenue....in fact it would be irresponsible of any government not to implement tax increases with the economy the way it is....and just who do you think is gonna end up re-paying that 7 billion dollars????? Do you think it's gonna be the 2% of the big businesses or do you think it's gonna be the tax payer...my bet is the tax payer....

Businesses will be fine Indy. There is too much fear going around. Nothing has happened yet and nobody can predict with good accuracy what will really happen. There is no way the bar would be raised lower for taxing businesses. Not even the democratic controlled congress will buy that.

The class system was invented by the goverment to pit people against eachother and making them dependant upon the government. There really is only a willingness to do better for yourself or steal from those who are doing better for themselves. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be comfortable in your life.... you just need to break a sweat if you want it. There are far too many people who are able, but not willing because it is too easy to do nothing and survive.

The only businesses that are immune to downtimes are the businesses that offer a service or product that the people are dependent on. I never said the system does not work, but I did say that it fails every so often. It leads to more centralization of the wealthy elite which does not promote a free market if we use history as our guide.
