Skybow: You're wrong Tom because you slant the truth and want only slanted one sided truth to be presented. Obama will never be telling any kind of truth to you unless he confesses what you want to hear.

You throw around words like terrorist, socialism and communism as if they are the same thing and pin them on my candidate. You do this to inspire fear, maybe the same fear you are feeling but it is still fear.

I resent that, you will not get away with that kind of character assignation with this American. Obama has always been more of a centrist, he is a good man and will make a good leader if he is elected.

Socialism is not a political system, it's a way of distributing goods and services. Democracy is liberal. More people, preferably everyone, have some say in how the government works.

Communism is conservative. Fewer and fewer people,have any say in how the economy works. Republicans are conservative.

Seems to me as if you are also totally ignoring the new world we are in for the last few weeks. The world of marked crashes, insanely high national debt that was increased by the market bailout. Underfunding of the programs and services we have right now and the crumbling destruction of our middle class.

So cry me a river when you say distributing the wealth is wrong but grabbing power and destroying our infrastructure is not mentioned as a reason to remove the Bush tax cuts on the millionaires and big cooperations.

You know the ones that played fast and loose with responsibility to support this country and create jobs while making record profits.

Darkhorseman: Communism as practiced in China and Russia is not socialism. It is Totalitarianism with socialism as it's excuse in the same way that Capitalism is an excuse for Fraudism in the USA ... how do you think the financial markets collapsed? The money that was meant to be used for expension of businesses was siphoned off by fraudsters under the guise of capitalism.
Exactly where is your freedom and democracy NOW? Your freedoms have been destroyed by the Patriot Act and democracy ... Your Repulicans are AGAIN doing their level best to disenfranchise a good deal of your poor from their right to vote. Only the rich will have a right to government handouts and only the rich will be able to vote. Now that DOES sound like Russia and China to me.
Again, how do you reconcile that statement with the fact that in at least two recent elections and now it looks like this election the Republican party are doing their best to cut the amount of poorer voters who have enrolled? Perhaps the elephantine ladies and gentlemen ar secret prayers to the East. Remember that is was them that brought in the Patriot Act which allows people like Tommy Chong at 66 years of age to be jailed for selling a glass bong. It hadn't been used for smoking anything, not even legal tobacco ... but your Republicans spent over a years survellance and a guns out "hutt hutt hutt" raid on his house. How much education and health help could that have bought?
How do socialist views support Middle Eastern terrorists??? These people hate socialists more than you do! They believe in a feudal society where you give obedience to your local lord and master. If your local Iman says go out and bomb a bus they expect you to ask how big an explosion do you want.
