I speak English very well (northern accent, southern accent, & PA dutch accent), just a bit of Spanish, & apparently when I talk in my sleep, I speak Portugese (from when I was learning to speak while I lived in Portugal)!!
Steevyv: Usually people from smaller nations speak more languages than those from bigger.
Besides English, I also speak passable German and American Sign Language. I used to speak Spanish and French fluently, but now I can only read French and swear in Spanish. Funny, I was fluent enough in Spanish a long time ago to speak it like a native, but now I can barely ask where the restrooms are...and German is getting rusty too since I have nobody to speak it with on a regular basis.
I can speak both Norwegian languages, Nynorsk and Bokmål, Swedish, Danish, German, and right now I'm trying to learn Icelandic but it isn't any easy one to pick up.
I am italian so it is my mother tongue, then i speak english fluent as i use it every day and i am low in french (i used to speak it when i was at school but when i finished school i stopped using it but i read it and i still understand not bad) and i understand 80% of maltese but i don`t speak it at all!
