Loved the series, loved "Next Generation" too...I'd have to see the trailers for the movie. It would be neat if it's as good as the two series' were.

Haven't yet seen trilers but from what I've been told it is good. I hope so....
I loved the Borg, so Fist Contact is my first choice, Wrath of Khan second tied with Insurrection...

I LOVE Star Trek and have all the movies. Seen every episode of every series too. First Contact is my favourite one I think but I love IV The Voyage Home too. Generations and The Undiscovered Country were not good. The action scenes look good in the new film though the actors look like teenages (hope it is not like Starship Troopers which I thought was terrible). I am dying to see it though!!!

i'm more of a star wars nerd than a trekkie... but i have been a to a convention... when i was like 8head banger good times. (my best friend growing up, his parents were very into it, had EVERY single episode on tape AND the mother wrote a book (fan fiction) that was published.)

anyhoo, not a big fan (kahn was the best movie, although i admit i didn't see the last couple) but the trailers and reports i've read make it look and sound impressive... my only fear is that they will try too hard and it'll be a travesty.

I enjoyed the first set of Star Wars Movies, as for the later ones - it was all downhill from there.dunno
