I got out of work the other morning and went to leave the car where Shelia works, she had ridden the motorcycle. I placed the keys in what I consider to be a quite obvious spot, above the sunvisor. You think she could find them? Nope, she practically tore the car apart searching for them In the movies, when someone climbs into a car to "borrow" it, the first place they look is above the sunvisor.

You have to remember we are women...we do not do the "obvious"!!
I would check a lot of places before I'd check the sunvisor. I've never paid attention to what they do in the movies...and it really seems like an illogical place to put them to me.
My lovely Jackson lost her car keys this past Wednesday. Had to fire up my ol' Ramcharger to pick me up at the truck. When we got home, thinking maybe she'd dropped them in the trunk when she was looking for something earlier, she said, "Honey, pop the trunk of the car open." I looked at the key slot and said "Why don't you just use your keys?" (They were still hanging there!)

leave em in the ignition mate, first place anyone usually goes just in case they want to "borrow" the car. or if you want to be safe, in the cup holder :P

I can't say a word.... Hell, once I locked myself out of my car. There were a total of 3 sets of keys inside.

I locked my keys in my car once but I did not fear because I had an extra set in a magetic case put under the inside of the front bumper. Well as it happen it rained a lot while I was visiting and the big pot hole in front of my car had filled so high I had the bigger problem of how to get them with out looking like I was dragged through the mud. Oh well, I got them anyway and was on my way.
