My grand daughter who is 20 months was playing with the extension cord so I took it away from her and put it somewhere.

I have looked and looked but cannot find it. I am going out of my mind trying to remember.

How many of you do the same thing, take and put something away then cannot remember where you put it. I looked in all my usual spots where I usually put things but the extension cord is not in any of them. It is like it just disappeared.

I joke around with my two teen boys all the time telling them that in a few more years, they will have to put a name tag with address around my neck so someone will return me!

OMG yes...

I have a way of assigning places for everything in my home(and work) and when an outside force disrupts that pattern, I tend to misplace things.
