Backyard Lover
You click and you search
From your high city perch
For the perfect male lover
How rare tho you discover
Be it prince or changeling
You never know strangely
Til you meet and converse
Grasping mace in your purse
He could be a stray dog
He could be a green frog
He could be a hotdog
Hope for short of a God
He could be a Godsend
Perhaps also a best friend
A white knight who defends
Pure luck it seems to depend
His legend is legion
But not in your region
He's discarded with glee
By eyes that look but don't see

Loved the poem as always boyishcharm...and got the spelling right at last....Niah
