The days are fast closing. Many events are unfolding. Signs or symptoms who knows? But things are on the brink. No one seems in control. Optimism doubts and fear abound. In a sense all are right. Surely there must be conclusion. Something must give, it's said. Answers are sure to unfold. But are we now prepared? Or has man run his course? The answer is in time. We must all take a stand. Victory or is it defeat? Weeping and sorrow nashing of teeth. Joy and laughter sounds sweet? Right now we don't know. We must overcome or grapple woes.
"For man is both enemy and foe" - nice line! It reminds me of.... "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways!" Add to that truth - "masses" of double minded men and you get a pretty clear picture of what's happening in the world around us!! Lots of instability!!! Nice poem sir!! Thank You for sharing it!!
Byfaith, your poem is heartfelt i know and seems prophetic, but i believe that your last line is wrong, man may be foe, but he is friend too, I think. anyway just my opinion. Thanks. ;-)
hey goodguy what i had in mind while writing was man as his own enemy hence my phrasing. while foe is individuals as they relate to one another. but i got your pt. i would look at it again and consider your change

Prophetic or evolution Both We can look and predict were actions will take us and many tools of science to do just that. Evolution is infinite. I come from this read from a different angle But you have sparked more thought, to final days
