Welcome to Raghokuith (Part 3)

Off we went through the woods at a rapid pace
"Hurry, hurry," she kept saying as we almost raced
For someone so short she was mighty fast
The trees seemed a bit strange, not sure what it was
Then it hit me, the leaves were all blue in colour
I was just about to ask her about this when she stopped
Lifted her head and started sniffing, just like an animal
"Up tree here," she said, "quickly you climb up."
In this place with all I've seen, not going to argue
Up I climbed and I'll tell you at my age it's not easy
Then I heard it, funny snuffling type noises coming
Couldn't see it yet but after what I'd seen I worried
Oh boy! the smell hit me, no wonder she was sniffing
Disgusting, foul evil stench of dirty unwashed bodies
What was coming and I thought are we high enough
There it was, they looked like wild bristly boars
But on their backs, riding, were what looked like monkeys
"Very dangerous,"she whispered, "but no can climb tree
Eat your heart, is best part for them, leave rest."
That was enough for me, I wanted to go home real bad
After a while, she thought it was safe to go on
We walked down a hill and came to a small river
"Wait, here the river is full of catfish, first scare them."
Catfish? why would I be scared of them, caught plenty before
Then I saw them, good grief they were literally catfish
Like a giant cat head on a fish tail, and those teeth
She scared them off by beating the water with a big stick
"Quick now cross before they come back, have nasty bites."
Cross we did quickly and carried on downhill
Soon I could hear voices coming from a village up ahead
As we entered what I saw shocked, well stunned me actually
Such a variety, we were met by a four eyed orangutan
He walked up and said, "I am Gatang, welcome to Raghokuith."
