You, only you of all the endless world Can bring a joy to me one ever brought, Make life a paradise on earth for me, My only hope in life to burden lift. Life dealt me blows so hard to bear, A test of fortitude it was, but I don’t care. Joy was denied me, was in fact a fruitless toil, To fail in life, I guess, is not a feat to boast, Live means to love and to be loved in turn.

About this poem:
Something like a whole word acrostic, following my fellow poet's suit!
Thank you, Kathy, I was really, really touched and pleased by your comment! Best regards!

I love the poems that make me thing, and this one did....and no doubt will read again. Thank you for your provoking thoughts Marikia.....a special lady who cares much......Kathy NZ
Now that I stumbled on it, I hope it is not too late to thank you, Niah, for the comment, but it so happens that “sometimes too late is just in time” (C.J. Carlyon) Kindest regards!

A whole word (first word) acrostic. I love it. So beautifully expressed.
