Undying love
Undying love

Throughout the years he waited
For the beauty he never dated,
But he knew she was the one
That all others he would shun.
It was her eyes,chestnut deep,
With beauty that made him weep,
Then her heart sunk the hook,
As big as the Earth she shook.
To him she was an angelic scene
With beauty like he'd never seen,
He thought for sure Heaven's queen,
Was she who looked sweet sixteen.
She did not know he waited true
Until his earthly days were through,
For his glimpse of perfect love,
Could only be topped up above.
She waited too for love so strong,
A man who would ne'er do wrong,
Like the one buried atop the hill,
Looking down on her,loving still.

She that captivated thee. She sure is very lucky
If only love abound like this for all the world to see
I am sure there would never be hatred, no pain
No jealousy nor insecurity...This world
Would just be full of love and love it is

Thanks again.My heart was in this one as that is usually the source of my poems.Believe it or not,she is a lady in high demand as an inspirational speaker in the Christian community.Co founder of one charity and active in others,runs her own crisis line,leads prayer teams to different parts of the world,loves God abundantly,is a pastor who ministers from and in her own home in Newfoundland.She is the most unselfish person I have ever met.Her husband walked out 5 years ago at Christmas time.She thought no man would want her because she was with her husband for 40 yr.I have spent the better part of the past 10 months convincing her that she is beautiful,which she is.She is still searching for her own heart and I have backed off.yada,yada,yada.That's the short version,lol.If you like this you will also like 'The Rose'.You are so kind again.God bless
