This Soldier's Love

When you see the face of Jesus you see His Glory,
But when you look at the Cross it tells the story
Of a love so pure it will forever endure,
A love that shows us how to mature,
For without a loving,giving soul,
No maturity can make you whole.

His words bespoke of wisdom far beyond His age,
This holy Gift to man,this wond'rous,guiding Sage,
For why should He love us that much,
To save us all from Satan's clutch,
Unless it was God's own mandate,
To save us from destruction's fate.

God loved us so much He gave His unselfish holySon,
For His gift of perfect love,in the hearts of everyone,
Will endure forever in this Soldiers love,
Endeared by man and God above,
So let us not tarnish this Treasure,
And cherish His love beyond measure.
