Sound of mirror breaking shatters the silence Shards fly through the air reflecting light A crazy kaleidoscope of colours on the walls Within micro seconds, though feels like hours They settle on the floor, their passing only a memory
Where have you gone? Your light that was bright Casting warmth into all dark corners Now only a memory, a forgotten promise Rain washes all away, ushers in a new day Silence there is, stillness under the cold light of the sun

I find that while reading this that the more I read it the deeper I get into it. You have managed to create so many different layers within this one poem.
