What does one say to another not known? Desires to express gratitude for all that's been shown... England your home, in France you do roam... A journey of words, your heart you have flown...
You've taken us places we never could see... Describing the details in pure mystery... From Egypt to Arabia... To the English Lake District... To the edge of the galaxy where black stars persisted...
Your stylized writing is beautiful to read... Thoughts from your life put so eloquently... You've taken on topics no other would dare... And wrote your sweet words for us all to be shared....

Cafe and M.M......thank you both for your extremely kind comments. Phil is a first-class gentleman, as both of you are as well. Your kind and specific comments will surely warm his heart while he takes a much needed break. Thank you for your consideration of such a fine poet.
Awesome write CK...and a good reflection of your nature... It's sad that Phil feels the need to leave. He's an awesome poet we all can learn a lot from...
What you've done here reminds me of the saying: "When we look for the good in others, we discover the best in us"; and you've done just that!
Christian, I have missed this and boy oh boy what a great tribute to a very wonderful man. I have been to lucky to have lived his life in those short but most memorable 7 days with him. We read all his beautiful poem (published) and I was so privileged to read in front of wonderful people, from England, Scotland, Ireland and Switzerland. I learned so much from those 7 days more than I have learned in College from St. John (Cambridge, England) during my school days. Anyways, what a truly fine and gentle man he is. A real gem in this sometimes cruel and unkind world.
To all you lovely people, as I have said before, I truly cannot believed these words are written of me, I am truly humbled and grateful for your sentiments, I am honoured to have come into contact with so many, who express the best of humanity via there gifted pens, each unique in there own right, each as a shinning star in the cloudless climes of heaven's sent star strewn sky, which enrich our lives, and much endorsed by the recent visit of Tess and Phyllis, God Bless you all. Phil.
Christian, if I were to write a book about my friends, he'd definitely hug the rest of the pages and would need your help to fully express all these immeasurable tributes that words can't express. In summary our humanity is so blessed because of him and if all people in the world were like him, it truly then is heaven. Lucky are those who are close to him and I'd love to spend time with him as much as I can.
