Hi Catlyn, 5-7-5- Is a Haiku as Ken said. I think that's the traditional form. Five syllables, 7 syllables and five syllables. You got It right and a good job on It too. Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.

So that's what it is, Ken - And all these years, I've known the term - well, I knew a haiku consisted of 3 lines... but that's about it! Thank you so much for the comment, and the enlightenment!

*To Andrew- oops, it was you who mentioned on my very 1st try here, one of the great things about poetry was making up your own words... I think I've got one like that somewhere on a piece of paper - did it while in a car-kind of alphabet rap... I think...(only on red lights, though )
Here's a teddy for Cat, who made this wonderful sweet poem and one for Laura because we know you love them!

Glad I am not the only one getting the 5-7-5 wrong...or shrouded in confusion....great write though, loved it, and about a special young lady....K

Thank you, Niah! Well, it appears I got it right- or at least the 5-7-5 part, but confusing, yes .
I think Socrates described it quite well in explaining the various haikus on another poem... but as stated, my true purpose was the beautiful subject <3<3<3...
Thanks, NiahK!
